Pros and cons of Superbike Magazine app for iPhone and iPad
Superbike Magazine app good for
Simple to use, very interesting and cool articles... Nothing more, nothing left. The contends for me are among the best concerning motorbike and fun on it.
As a Canadian (Vancouver) subscriber Im glad all the bugs have been worked out and the app is working relatively smoothly now...Cant rave enough about this magazine though...when it comes to motorcycle magazines...you Brits STILL Rule The World!
Some bad moments
Couldnt wait to get my IPAD 2 and subscribe to Superbikes as we in Canada have a difficult time getting it here. Loaded the app and a couple of issues but when I turn just a few pages the app crashes. Happens every time!
I have been a long time superbike reader, but this app makes it difficult, very slow to load, crashes a lot and too many irritating (and slow) animations get in the way. It dumps you on the in app purchase screen every time it is run in the hope that you will purchase more magazines. No thanks..
The app crashes when I turn 4-5 pages of the magazine. Cant use, please help!
Same as the magazine. get one issue with the app and pay for any additional issues. Dont like that I cant look through the mag before dLing but the picture quality is great and user interface is friendly
Superbike Magazine makes for great reading. Flipping through digital files is just like flipping through the pages of the real thing, but better... i dont have to donate $12 to my local Barnes and Noble for a mag that is a month behind the UK. The caveat, as soon as this app decides to bug out and quit. It will never reload, it will never open again. No matter how many times you restart or hard restart your ipad. The only remedy is to delete the app and re-sync it from the itunes thats loaded on your big clunky home computer. Not a huge inconvenience I suppose. Unless youre scampering about the country for 8 weeks away from said big clunky home computer. I hope this defect is fixed rather soonish so that I can give it the 5 star rating the magazine deserves.
Downloaded this app on 2/11/11. Got the free magazine, downloaded it, wouldnt open. Went in and bought 6 month subscription and didnt get the issues. Downloaded June 2010 magazine and app crashed several times. Even with subscription, I had to pay $3.99 to $6.99 for each issue. I reported the app and havent received a response. Wasted $45.00 on issues I cant read. Dont download.
